Hi all, this is a repost from Ouster:
Hello there,
It's been a busy week at Ouster! Here are a few updates we'd like to share with you.
We wrote a technical post on optical aperture so you can learn how aperture impacts a lidar sensor's ability to see through bugs, mud, snow, and other particles. Check out the results of our field test to see how the OS1 performs with large obscurants, like bugs, on the sensor window.

Here are a few customer announcements from this week:
- Postmates selects Ouster lidar for their new generation of Autonomous Delivery Rovers. Durability, range, and resolution were just a few reasons they chose us for deployment on crowded urban streets.
