Is it possible to change the rotation speed of the LiDAR lasers?

Hi
I was wondering whether it is possible to change the speed rotation of the Ouster LiDAR?
I know the 16 channel lidar has speed around 70 revolutions per second, I want to decrease it to 30 revolutions per second.
I appreciate it if you help me with how I can do it.

Hi,

you can select between 10 and 20Hz on Ouster OS1 devices (precisely: only for 512 and 1024 column modes - 2048 mode is 10Hz).
You can do so either via configuration in OusterStudio (i.e. select mode 2048x10), or via TCP IP Interface (set_config_param lidar_mode 2048x10), cannot tell you about ROS, but there should be a similar named interface.
