Sylvia,
Thanks for the link. Ouster Studio worked on one computer but kept timing out/locking on the other.
Scanner setup: OS1-128 was connected to a gigabit router feeding two workstations (WS1 and WS2). DHCP was used to assign the IP addresses and I manually retrieved the OS1's address through the router's lease table. Scanner connection was verified using the alias, the IP address, and netcat with the IP address.
WS1: NUC 10i7FNH with the Intel i219V network controller. Ubuntu 18.04.
-- Network autodetect failed the first time. It found the scanner's alias but failed to configure it. Switching to "Fixed IP v4" (Sensor Configuration >> Network Options) fixed this, and then the "Default (via DHCP)" option started working.
WS2: HP Envy X360 with AMD 4500U and (I think) Intel AX200 network controller. Ubuntu 20.04.
-- Network autodetect froze for about 2 minutes before I terminated the program.
It's good to get connected, anyway. Thanks for your help.
