OS0 lidar beam configurations

Hello Ouster Team,

I just started using the OS0 Gen 2 Lidar. I have successfully built and run the given ouster_example code. The sensor default beam is set to the uniform. I want to change the beam to a gradient. Where can I change/set the configuration settings?

Hello Ashokpatil03,

Happy to hear you started using your OS0 sensor. The beam configuration is a factory setting and cannot be changed in the field unfortunately. What type of project are you working on? Happy to hear more details on what you're working on.

Thank you for the information. What is the possible way that we can change its beam? We want to use it for the motion capture project. The system requires tracking of the human body (pose of a person) in real-time. We are currently using multiple lidars to track, so we want to replace it with a single lidar sensor. It would be a great assistance if you could suggest some solution.
