Time synchronization and NMEA string support

I have a couple questions about time synchronization.

We are trying to synchronize our Ouster OS1 (fw: 1.12.0) to an Emlid Reach M+ GNSS system but there is an issue with the NMEA strings. According to the documents of both units the Ouster accepts only NMEA GPRMC strings and the Reach sends NMEA GNRMC strings. This has lead us to some questions.

Can it be confirm that OS1 will only accept the GPRMC format?
Will there be support for other NMEA formats in the future such as GNRMC and GLRMC?
Can we still use the PPS from the GPS unit in order to sync the timing of the ouster and our GPS?

While we look into your question, I have this additional information for you.
Emlid Reach M+ supports several messages for NMEA 0183, such as GNRMC, GNGGA, GPGSA, GLGSA, GAGSA, GPGSV etc. More information can be found here

I have also the same issue but with PwrPak7 GNSS system.
Is there any tutorial how to synchronize OS1-64 with this GNSS system.
